Hi! I’m Elisa, a French freelance casting assistant based in the UK with more than 4 years of experience working internationally for the offices of Nancy Bishop, Sally McCleery, and Rachel Freck.
Originally from France, I grew up surrounded by an international community in The Netherlands, before moving to the UK for my studies. After completing a BA in Performing Arts at Buckinghamshire New University and an MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths University, I decided to pursue a career in casting. I started as a casting assistant for Anji Carroll on the award-winning feature film “Lucy 2.0”, directed by Fenella Greenfield. Shortly after, I began working for Nancy Bishop Casting, with whom I have worked for 4 years as a casting assistant. As part of Nancy’s team, I was able to work on feature films and TV series commercially distributed in the UK, EU, and the US, such as “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm”, “Wheel of Time”, “Totems” and “Greek Salad”.
In 2022, I joined Heart Casting, a company based in the Midlands, as a casting associate where I worked on the production “She’s Royal” with casting directors Tonia Dailey-Campbell and Marie Rowe. I’ve also worked as a casting assistant with Rachel Freck Casting on the Apple TV Series “Trying”, and the Amazon Prime Video film “Your Christmas or Mine 2”. Most recently, I’ve worked with Sally McCleery Casting on varying commercials, such as Vodafone’s “The Nation’s Network” ads campaign.
I also work as a casting director for short and feature films. I worked with Hannah Marie Williams Casting and director Victoria Thomas on the Screen Scotland and BFI Network-funded short film “A Birthday Party”. Furthermore, I also cast the BFI Network and Film London-funded short film “South Facing”, which screened at the BFI London Film Festival in 2023.
What I love about casting is starting from a project breakdown to bringing characters to life. I have the chance to assist incredible projects and find the talents who will bring those characters into reality.

As an experienced casting assistant, I work with casting directors for a smooth run of daily operations. I edit, upload, and review self-tapes, conduct availability checks, manage lists, and suggest actors on all productions I have worked on. I am also familiar in liaising with production teams for negotiations, deal memos, CANs, offers, and cast confirmations. I maintain good working relationships with UK/EU/US agents, and I am proficient in using multiple casting platforms such as Spotlight, Casting Networks, and Cast It to name a few.
As a casting director, I will support your production find the best fit that can represent your characters. I always aim to find a cast from a diverse roster of talents, wherever they may be.
