Hi! I’m Elisa, a French freelance casting associate and director based in the UK. I’ve worked internationally for the offices of Nancy Bishop, Sally McCleery, and Rachel Freck.
Originally from France, I grew up surrounded by an international community in The Netherlands, before moving to the UK for my studies. After completing a BA in Performing Arts at Buckinghamshire New University and an MA in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths University, I decided to pursue a career in casting.
I discovered casting while working for Anji Carroll on the award-winning feature film Lucy 2.0 (dir. Fenella Greenfield). Shortly after, I joined Nancy Bishop Casting as an intern, progressing to casting assistant and then casting associate. Through Nancy’s office, I’ve worked on internationally distributed film and TV projects including Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, The Wheel of Time, Totems, and Greek Salad.
With Sally McCleery Casting, I gained experience in commercials, street casting, and children’s casting, working on campaigns for Irn-Bru, Vodafone, and JP Morgan, and assisting on the Oscar-nominated feature Bugonia. I’ve also worked with Rachel Freck Casting on the Apple TV+ series Trying and the Amazon Prime film Your Christmas or Mine 2.
As a casting director, I’ve worked with Hannah Marie Williams Casting and director Victoria Thomas on the Screen Scotland and BFI Network-funded short A Birthday Party, and cast the BFI Network and Film London-funded short South Facing, which screened at the BFI London Film Festival in 2023.
What I love about casting is starting from a project breakdown to bringing characters to life. I have the chance to be part of incredible projects and find the talents who will bring those characters into reality.

As an experienced casting associate, I work with casting directors for a smooth run of daily operations. I edit, upload, and review self-tapes, conduct availability checks, manage lists, and suggest actors on all productions I have worked on. I am also familiar in liaising with production teams for negotiations, deal memos, CANs, offers, and cast confirmations. I maintain good working relationships with UK/EU/US agents, and I am proficient in using multiple casting platforms such as Spotlight, Casting Networks, and Cast It to name a few.
As a casting director, I will support your production find the best fit that can represent your characters. I always aim to find a cast from a diverse roster of talents, wherever they may be.
